A work remade under pressure.
Set Sail was developed during Zjana’s MFA in Choreography at Trinity Laban and presented at Resolution, The Place’s platform for new contemporary dance.
Originally conceived as a collaborative work, the piece was reimagined as a solo only days before the performance following a collaborator’s withdrawal.
From collaboration to solo
Zjana re-conceived, re-choreographed and rehearsed the work in approximately three days, taking full artistic responsibility for bringing it to the stage.
